I've been told that this movie is slow and the story line is lame. But I have a really stubborn friend. So what to do? He won't see this anyways, so its okay to say that! :)
Im saying both Yes and No.
The synopsis says 'Set in 1954, U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) is investigating the disappearance of a murderess whom escaped from a hospital for the criminally insane and is presumed to be hiding on the remote 'Shutter Island.'
Yeap, I actually ended up scratching my head with a bunch of question marks because the movie has nothing about that. I was feeling anxious to know about whos the murderer and all but nope, thats not the thing.
We're like playing treasure hunt. Clues were given in between the conversations. Brain is the big thing here.
Im quite amazed with the twist towards the end. Its not as simple as something we always see. Like we get to predict the end of any movie. As bad man dies and good guys live happily ever after.
Its like you wouldn't know what going on unless you finished watching the whole thing.
An unusual ones, worth the penny.
